For
those attending for the first time, during the royal ceremony, we will
impart to you and you will forever be keepers of the ancient history
of how this tribe of women came into being. At the exact location from
which we began, you will take the journey along a path which carries
you from the beginning of our group's time into the present. Here you
will be introduced to the earliest members of this society, meet all
of the members who have joined since our inception, and take your own
initial steps into this secret and "honorable" sisterhood."
But this tribe is a secret to most and thus should remain.
If Once You've Stayed on the Port A. Beach
If once you've stayed on the Port A. beach
In that fall time called WWW
You will never be quite the same
You may look as you looked before
And go by the same old name
You may go everyday to your familiar job
Or may hustle about in street and shop
But you'll see the water and the wheeling gulls wherever you may go
And those WWW memories will each year surely grow
For all the while of your 3 day sojourn
You've been pampered at the Seagull, tis true
Gazed out at the surf, the sand, and pool from its balconies and the beach
You successfully completed those top secret ceremonies
And learned the secrets they imparted
And you now have that unique WWW name reserved especially for you
You will think back on such quality time spent with both old friends and new
And Sherry's sangrias and the musical beat
That drove that tropical mood way down deep in your soul
You snacked day and night and played late night games
And there was always that draw called "Sharkey's"
You laughed hard and deep over antics and jokes
And surely solved all the world’s problems
Sherry's Bloody Marys and Janis's famous omelets set you up right for the day
Its been anything goes and the time was yours
For sand, and nature, for walks, and shops
And as good as it was, too quick came the call
For that last morning meet to say good bye and retreat
Yes, you may chat with neighbors of this and of that
And live your nice, normal life
But you'll hear those ferries calling and see the dolphins welcome flip
And the tides will beat rhythmically to lull you to sleep
And you won't know why and you can't say how
But once you've stayed on the Port A beach in that WWW time
You'll never be quite the same.
